26 More Days

Shaun left for a business trip to American Samoa Monday.  He is supervising a Dental Mission.  He's making sure all the soldiers are either a category 1 or 2 dental wise.  So far he has hit every brick wall imaginable.  Its been one messed up thing after another.  No Xray equipment, or surgical equipment, all on the day that 200 something soldiers were ordered to take the day off from work so they could be looked at.  Shaun of course pulled a few magic tricks out of his hat and managed to save the day, but I can just imagine how stressed out he is.
Miss him terribly.  The nights are the worst without him.
Luckily my sister Sarah is coming to town for a week!!  Super excited, and can't wait to see her!
So for the next 26 days I may or may not keep a journal on our blog to kind of help me remember things for me to share with Shaun when he gets back.

My schedule for today:
Take Ian to gymnastic
Pick up Isabel at 12:35 from school
Maybe go swim at the Recreation Pool
Grocery shopping
Finish my Sister Quilt Block


Just in case some of you don't know what American Samoa looks like I added these pictures.

It looks beautiful there, but according to Shaun there is not a lot of recreation to choose from other then go to the beach.

    Liz!!! I've been wondering all about this and hope that you are going to be alright. So glad to read the Sarah is coming there for a visit! That's fabulous and will really help your time alone seem less difficult. Wish I could be there to help. Let us know your phone number.......Love,
