Our Easter Event

First we started with some egg dyeing
It was a marble kit, but it didn't turn out

then Ian wanted to try on Izzy's butterfly wings. He just too cute.

He still is such a boy despite the wings.

Then we went to the Calloway Garden Conservatory to look at all the spring blooms

the petunias aren't in bloom yet, but these baskets hang over a beautiful pond.

Tons of lilys and daffodils

afterwards we took Isabel for a bike ride.

Then we went to the ward Easter Egg Hunt. Shaun helped hide them.

Ian thought the bunny marshmallow peeps were toys and was playing with it the whole time. He licked it a bit then kept playing with it. It was SO ADORABLE!

Getting ready for the egg run. I had to hold Ian back because he could see the eggs but couldn't understand why I wouldn't let him pick them up yet.

my two little Easter egg treasure.

Checking out the hidden goodies in the eggs.

Sadly I was only able to get one blurry picture in on Easter Morning before the camera died. We just got them a few candies, and toys. Then off to Church. When we came home we watched "Barabbas", one of the many Easter movies that was on. My first time watching the movie; it was good.
It was a good Easter.
A good reminder of all that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ did for us.

you should look for the little board book "Owen's marshmallow chick" by Kevin Henkes. Owen plays with his marshmallow chick from his easter basket, it's cute.
